>>42270803Looking back I suppose maybe my memories were skewed towards recalling only the megas for the already OP Pokémon. I certainly don't remember many of the others being used all that much outside of meme teams.
Regardless, the main effect that megas had was to make the OP Pokémon even stronger, make the other Pokémon which got Megas somewhat usable (but only in specific circumstances limiting what they could do, and even then I doubt anyone used shit like Mega Audino outside of doubles save for shits and giggles), and let's not talk about Mega Fug.
