It's just a bad and unoriginal Pokemon ripoff that doesn't add ANYTHING to the genre.
It doesn't have any personality whatsoever, and blatantly copies typings, evolutions, breeding, combat system etc with the excuse that "BuT iT's An MMO sO iT's DifFeReNt!!11!1". I hate the thing. If you want to bring out a good example of monster training/battle rpg, name Digimon. Cyber Sleuth has good story, animations, longevity, voice acting but most importantly SOUL and PERSONALITY. Battles, for example, are more similar to final fantasy x of all things than pokemon, but everything else is just different and peculiar of that game
