>>water travelSwampert, because it's a stronger Pokémon and it's able to get past obstacles many others might not, which is important considering how much off-roading I'm going to be doing.
>>air travelBraviary, because it's tough enough to carry me long distances and take some hits along the way, and it can fend for itself while I'm adventuring so maintenance is surprisingly low. It can also withstand colder temperatures that something like a Salamence might not be able to, and it's more convenient to train.
>>heat/warmthHoundour/Houndoom, because I need a couple of Pokémon that can eat a little less on my team with so many powerhouses and one that can find its way in the dark, as well as go foraying for things at all hours of the day. It obviously can't provide the heat itself for sustained periods, but it can light a campfire when I can't get a stick to behave or I'm at high altitudes, making radiating heat unnecessary.
