It was just a PC Demo for Blue Rescue Team, so nothing of value was actually lost. It also can't be played anymore, because it required connecting to a server to play. You didn't miss out on anything unique to it. Just a glorified demo.

I doubt the executable was connecting to the internet for anything more than antipiracy. I'm sure the data was all included with the executable or its related files, so I think it would be possible to crack the program to make it playable again.
