The people they have a problem with are shills that will defend their corporate overlords to the death because it's Pokémon, or the blind consumers that apply no critical thought into their purchase and just buy it for no reason at all, blissfully unaware of the machine they're fueling. One sale isn't going to change anything, but when you have dozens of people online, and likely hundreds of quieter folk, that blatantly harass people that simply criticize the game for very basic things that the game should not be falling short of, and voluntarily going out of their way to make up for those lost sales by purchasing the product themselves, not only feeding the cycle that otherwise would have died but also robbing other consumers of sales. When they are willing to go to those lengths over something that petty, it's reasonable to raise a brow at someone levying even the slightest inkling of praise towards these titles, even if it isn't necessarily justified.
