I think they have a lot of options as to what they can do but there's enough to fuck up to have me cautious
My hopes are
>no starters present in the originals cut, I don't want a choice of 30 identical water/grass/fires like in SMD
>can still evolve immediately after the main game like in the originals
>keep the RNG generated jobs, add in static jobs like in SMD just as extras, and also add in more job criterias (remember RB only had rescue, delivery and escort)
>Friend zones are still included and made comfier than ever
>Keep RNG recruitment, but maybe tone down some of the obnoxious 0.000% recruitment rate pokemon
>Many new dungeons, maybe something akin to the side story bonuses in Sky
I think my only fears would be the opposite of what I just said, and also that they turn it into a DLC cow like sworshiel and announce hideous overpriced 60$ DLC a month after it comes out. I honestly wouldn't care if it didn't have every pokemon and would maybe slightly prefer it considering the originals were technically only up to gen 3, but they should have everything up to 6 at least considering all the models are fucking done as of SMD and it would be nothing to add them.
At least this trailer confirms one hope of mine that there will be more variety in the dungeon layouts, the originals only had square and rectangle rooms.
