If you boycotted the games you need to buy the DLC. The DLC covers most of the complaints, yeah it sucks you have to pay for it, but if you don't buy it GameFreak will take it as "Oh no one actually cared about the post game and the dex cut, Joe was right". Keep in mind neither Masuda or Ohmori is directing the DLC, this is our chance to get someone else into power at GameFreak.
