Being able to use it prior to beating the champion. Not sure which game that started in, but I think it was X/Y.

Also the fact that GF never figured a way to filter out hacked Pokemon, so you can clear just about any trade with any offer

It’s not legit more than likely, but this method works for about any eventmon out there. I have no idea who is going around constantly filling those trade offers, but it works every time.

Though I have noticed, it does not seem to work for Celebi for some reason.

probably because japanese colo celebi is actually hard to get. You can get infinite jirachis from the bonus disc and pokemon channel. I just don't have a gamecube, cable and the disc myself. I needed it to unlock the best pokewalker route.

Then you can work from that list. Obviously it would still be littered with people requesting legends for trash, but at least you could browse better

Legitimacy should not be an issue since the ones getting tossed around the GTS are blatantly hacked in based on the fact that they are more often than not shiny, as well as their OT being listed as some streamer. For whatever reason hacked Celebi just aren’t out there

more like what went so awesome

Back in GTS days i was getting shiny mons in non stop.
We even had GTS SCOUTING THREADs that went to bump limit so fast.
damn i miss those days so much and i so hope they will return with Pokemon Home

I also miss GTS because I'm too autistic to ask someone to trade online. As a result I can't finish my Pokedex unless I get lucky in Surprise Trade.
