It is way too fucking bright and this is a game you are supposed to use calm and warm (or even cold) colors so it doesn't give you a fucking headache. PMD is not for faggots that just play 30 mins then leave the game dropped for a week.

I'm not hoping for anything. I think the Switch is a neat console and I also think it has a few good games, I'm just waiting for it to have more than just a few first party games. Yes the pmd art style. But it has subtle changes you pretend it doesn't. They rise the colors to be more saturated, the brightness is higher, the models lack a fucking neck in all instances (what the hell), there is a lack of attention to detail like in the originals, certain animations are not there and some characters look plainly bad in that chibi deformed style they used or idk what else it could be since it doesn't have necks.

I didn't like it at first but now that I'm playing the demo it doesn't look bad at all.
The thing I'm most questioning is why they got rid of the basic attack. It was already practically gone in Super since it was entirely fucking worthless after the first dungeon or two but that was still how I typically waited for an opponent to approach me. Now I guess I have to wait a turn and hope I don't wait too many turns? I don't know what the wait button is though.

its not even that i disagree that the 3d models arent great, my partner is charmander and his mouth is just a flat texture when it opens. it just doesnt bother me because, due to the angle youre getting in the dungeons and the speed of attacks, its barely noticeable. so yea you could say im used to it, it just doesnt bother me
the character portraits are fine though, so far every little emotion i remember from the originals has been accounted for

That game doesn't have the A attack either. You just get tons of Elixirs. I heard RTDX has a lot of other ways to heal or save PPs, so that should make that aspect more enjoyable compared to Super.

Do you not see the downward trend? Yes it sold better Gates but it still represents waning interest in the franchise, not enough to kill it but more then enough to justify not taking chances that could bury once and for all. A remake is a good way to do that

All the boss slots fill it out. Celebi had an icon even though it automatically joins but Jirachi had an actual boss fight so I swapped them. Mew would also count as the Regis because they're all in the same dungeon.

Everything up to gen 7 is in the code apparently, but that's likely because they're using Super as a base. I wouldn't be surprised if it's just cross-gen evos and Lucario + megas and primals though.

That happens when you just press A, and only when you don't have moves that can hit an enemy in your range. It checks if there's a trap in the tile in front of you.
Apparently you take a turn by pressing R+A, I haven't tried it yet though.
