Mew has become relevant again with Gou, and in far older media such as the first movie, it was described as having a close relationship with an ancient people in Guyana that worshiped it because Mew could grant them bountiful crops. Could this be an expansion of that backstory? Or, since this looks to be a movie poster and Ash is in yet another new outfit, is this a completely different plot? It's probably the latter, but I would love it if we could see a nod to the Mew lore again.
