Yeah but the majority of people buy the first one and either pay again for the 3rd game or skip it out of not wanting to buy it again. Cheap dlc just makes it more accessible and easier. Also you dont have to wait 2 years to play a game everyone already has.

Difference between SS and Plat is that you can skip DP and just buy Platinum outright.
Can't do that with SS expansion pack.

No, it’s $30 for each PASS which includes both DLCs. There’s a Sword pass and a Shield pass, they were differentiating them because they’re separate purchases; if you own both games and buy the pass for one game it doesn’t work for the other.
