That's why it's split into the Sword Expansion Pass and Shield Expansion Pass, not the Armor Expansion Pass and Crown Expansion Pass.

Why do you assume I bought the original games? I wasn't gonna buy SwSh but I may have thought about getting the "complete" version since we know that's how Pokemon operates and it would've made more financial sense.
So now instead of waiting probably a year for a complete game at $60, I would have to spend $90 for the complete game and buy the other DLCs they probably have lined up for the rest of the NatDex. But GameFreak doesn't care, they know people will buy both versions of the game and both versions of the expansion passes, so losing my $60 doesn't matter to them.

Why does this DLC exist? The game is less than 2 months old, they had this DLC planned. This is crap. If you could make plans for dlc, then the dlc should have been in the original game.

it still doesn't have all the pokemon, doesn't have gts, doesn't have battle frontier, doesn't have megas or z-moves, literally removed a bunch of moves, etc.
as far as i can tell, this dlc doesn't fix any of these problems. it only adds a few more pokemon and a couple more empty ubisoft fields that they're passing off as a postgame.

Nice point evasion, you absolute fucking clown. Sure, more dlc to add to game you stupid fucking bitch - you have to PAY for it. over TWICE the price of any first gen game for MUCH less content, and this garbage fucking dlc only adds a few tiny little neat things.

Story will take at most a few hours and also still be a handhold walkthrough. Fighting legendary looks cool but fighting/dark is garbage typing. Other legend looks like shit. not even making up for cutting the dex by adding pokemon that should've been in, then lying about it. ALL this for subpar gameplay and additional content that costs almost the same as a full on old pokemon game.

You could not buy sun, and still get ultra sun for $40 flat.

You can't not buy Sword for $60 two years from now, and STILL have to buy the two DLC expansions for $60 at that time as well, making it $120 spent even as time marches on.

Also you had the luxury of selling/trading in the old game for the newer one to mitigate the price. you don't here.

There isnt going to be a Sword and shield definitive edition when they can just sell you the base game (Which wont go down in price) and the DLCs (Which also wont go down in price.
