All I know is that anybody who think these are the only two expansions are brainlets who have 0 foresight what so ever.
Even in that very direct we saw Gamefreak hinted, numerous times, that there will be more. Obviously they don't wanna outright say that shit since they wanna keep you focused on what we're getting in the immediate future, but I guarantee you there will be another pass after this one with more shit. Absolutely guarantee it. It's going to be incredible to be honest. When all is said and done Galar is going to be the most content filled region in the entire series by far and it won't even be close. The two expansions we're getting alone blow any third versions content the fuck out.

Gamefreak did it. They won it all.

I've played current DLC-less sword and shield for over 200 hours and I'm ingame right now still doing shit.
In comparison, I have 140 hours in BoTW and that's spread out over two runs (second one I admittedly didn't finish)

BASED. BOTW is complete shit. It's like SWSH's Wild Area but somehow usually even MORE empty. Had more fun with the almost nonexistent postgame in SWSH than I had in the entirety of SWSH. Traded it in for UM and AS and both are better too.

Idk maybe I just value aesthetics and the experience of playing a game more than most people, but even if the environments didn't have many landmarks or NPCs in BotW, it still felt way more like a living breathing world akin to smth from a Bethesda or CDPR game, and it felt more satisfying to explore and perform activities in the world. Hell, at least you actually CAN explore.

When will we get our temples back bro? Hopefully these expansion packs introduce actual new Pokemon outside of Legendaries and regional forms. Like, give us actual new Pokemon to play with. USUM only had Legendaries and Mythicals added to the dex.

Also they lied to us again with the "there is no plan to bring back old pokemon with updates"
They are not even behind paywall, so why thei had to lie instead of stating that they were adding some of the cut pokemon with future update before the release, allowing all that shitstorm to grow to insane proportion?

Well, yea, there are thow hole years untill the next pkemon game in november 2021, so they have to cover that time with something, and a 4 DLCs, one every 5 months will exaclty end around september 2021, right before the next mainline pokemon game.

Though I never really expected to get a game based off Ireland - even Nintendo Europe don't care enough about us to handle our shit (gotta go to the UK branch for that, which is double-fucked come end of the month and brexit happening) and TPCi only run events for us if they're running through Smyths (which have UK branches). What does that matter in the question? It's not like Slowpoke's two evolutions are game exclusives, they are just unloked with the respective DLC, Slowbro for the Island and Slowking for the snowy mountain.
