>>42320031Here's the thing, the DLC looks good, I dunno if there's gonna be much of a plot, seems they've got one for Isle of Armour but not really for Crown Tundra although desu Crown Tundra seems to mainly be the more Exploratory sort of Post-Game DLC as opposed to the more story driven of Isle of Armour.
I'm conflicted on the environments, I'm glad the Scottish Highlands is gonna be this frigid possibly unrelenting land of bitter coldness but at the same time I'm fucking appalled that the Isle of Mann is being turned into another fucking Alola (specifically Ula'Ula Island and you know why), why can't we just have a cold island, why is no part of the region based on Britain actually using the stereotypical british climate and environment?
I like that Klara and Avery exist although this feels like a missed opportunity to give Bede and Marnie some characterization, also it's pretty blatant that Tani was shoot in the foot by Ohmori when it came to Type Specialists for the Crown Tundra. I mean Ohmori took both Rock and Ice for the main game so you're basically forced to use Runerigus and Ground-Type as well as presumably Flying-Type with inevitably Corviknight.
In all honesty if the DLC could just be bought on its own, you don't have to pay $60 for the base game and the game instead just starts you off with a Lv.65 or something starter (since I assume the levels in these DLC areas will be in excess of Leon's Champion Levels) then I'd have considered getting it because the expanded Raid Dens plus the Regi Dungeon and the plot of the Dojo feel like it could be overall a $30 game, but it's not so I definitely won't get it because I'm not gonna pay $90 for a game that is at best $50 leaning closer to $40.
