Galar forms mean there is definitely more than one of each legendary and they're nothing more than rare pokemon.

This is nothing new; Let's Go literally let you find legendary birds in the wild. The question isn't if there is only one of every legendary but if there's only one of the top legendaries (Arceus, Dialga, etc.)

I thought it was widely agreed that only mythical legendaries are one of a kind god-like creatures, the other legendaries are just extremely rare or can only exist under specific circumstances

dialga palkia and giritina are regular legendaries but are one of a kind. same for rayquaza kyogre groudon. the birds and beasts are not one of a kind

Dialga Palkia and Giratina could be born again from Arceus's eggs even in "canon", through the HGSS event. Also in HGSS you could find the weather trio outside of Hoenn. Also with Mirage Spots in ORAS and Ultra Space in USUM you could find trio legendaries outside their respective regions, but I guess that's more of a grey area. But in ORAS you could also just find Lugia and Ho-oh naturally at Sea Mauville, also through events in the Gen 3 games at Navel Rock.

So yes there has been evidence of multiple legendaries, even the trio legendaries, before now.

Wasn't PMD set in the far future where humans disappeared? Presto - that happened, Dialga got released/freed itself from its Ball as its Trainer was gone, then more time passed until the events of the PMD games.

I always though as the cutscene used real-world images it was implying Arceus was creating another universe to allow the Dragons to be created.

Not true. There's absolutely more than one Solgaleo/Lunala (we know of three, the player's the reverse world Cosmog and Ultra Metropolis Sol/Luna) and they're yet Majors.

I can't tell if you're shitposting or not but let me explain it to you. It doesn't matter if he is evil, what he say is true. Just because a pokemon can be viewed as a god, it doesn't mean normal things can't affect them. Look at Dialga and Palkia in this context. Despite the fact, that they are view as god, you can still capture them and control them. This should explain to you that they are still animals and normal animal things should affect them. That's why the birds, who are known to be more powerful than normal pokemon can change and have different variant.

In HGSS you can literally get a second newborn Palkia/Dialga made specifically for you form Arceus, so no, they are not unique either.
