>pokemon Y just came out at the time
>have this friend who I played 3ds with all the time
>trading,mariokart you name it
>he gives me his pokemon Y game card
>"keep it anon, im leaving anyway"
>I didnt think about it at the time but those words mean alot to me now
>fast forward to the now
>12th grade now
>at school one day in a new state
>I see my Poké friend
>"Hey!"
>He glances at me
>hes changed alot, gained weight, acne, dyed hair
>he lets out a little "h-hey"
>I talk to him about pokemon and stuff
>he just glances at me weirdly and ignores me
>ask his parents what happened
>"Oh, our son was involved in an accident 2 years ago. H-he has amnesia. He can make new memories but he cant remember what happened before the accident..."
>Im devastated

I tried talking to him more but he completely changed. hes trying to be a soundcloud rapper now and honestly I wish the old him was still here. its kinda fucked up how shit like this happens. I guess he really did leave :(
Used to be a smart kid too, glasses and high grades and everything. the accident just destroyed his life and he doesnt even know it
