to what extent is the deer abomination more mascotte than celebi? it's probably the mythical of this gen, only instead of being an even it's dlc, so they splash it in your face for you to buy it. celebi had a movie, while the deer doesn't (yet), and was about to be shilled in the anime with the GS ball (which they dropped).

Urshifu and Calyrex are literally the logos of Isle of Armor and Crown Tundra expansions as well as representations of the armor and crown themselves in the same fashion Zacian and Zamazenta are the sword and the shield, they are more of a mascot that Eternatus, Zygarde or Mewtwo. Celebi isn't a game mascot at all

I fully expect a Tower Gauntlet and Spear Frontier, the first will be a boss rush/PWT remix and the second a new Battle Frontier, with the other 6 lore gym leaders as the new Brains. Each will probably have an external mini Wild Area, the remaining 300 odd pokemon, new Gmax for Sinnoh starters, and a legendary for each.

It's literally threaten as such, it's UltraSword/UltraMoon, and you can't deny Urshifu and Calyrex are LITERAL mascots of this. I can understand why you wouldn't put them in the same exact category as Zacian, Zamazenta, Solgaleo, Lunala, and the likes, but they are waaaaaaaaaaaaay closer to them than Celebi who is mascot of nothing in the Pokemon main line

Do we even know how does Armor dude change forms? They made a big deal about expanded Sword and expanded Shield being different but didn't say a thing about the forms. Can we just freely change between each form? I really was expecting the pre-evo to evolve into one or the other depending on the version

Urshifu is a red herring, the true Armour Pokémon will be a third legendary wolf. Zacian = Cyan and Zamazenta = Magenta, so there’s still gotta be a Yellow wolf.

Dunno about names, but I reckon another expansion pass is guaranteed. These two add “over 200” Pokémon collectively and there’s 490 not in the base Galarian dex, so if they put roughly 120 in each expansion then they’ll get the whole roster in.
