Capitalism works fine if you assume competition exists and the consumers are rational people who will only spend their money on the best possible product.

I can't tell what your actual stance is, but you're correct that it works under specific conditions and gets weaker the less it meets these conditions.

What annoys me is most people say shit like this in defense of capitalism. If there are problems, they should be addressed. Otherwise capitalism doesn't work for the majority.

It's not like there's an alternative, capitalism has been very good to the industry as a whole, there are tons of great games out there that you can get for cheap and have lots of love and passion put into them (and thats without taking into account that capitalism drove the technology to be better so we can have more powerful and cheaper computers and consoles). But there are always gonna be hordes of crayon eaters that consoom whatever they're told to.
Just let go I guess, spend your money on something that deserves it. I'm not saying you alone are gonna bring Gamefreak down but spending time complaining about it isn't helping either.
