Yellow and crystal, to a lesser extent, were the only times where they really were just adding new content and polishing what were effectively complete games.

Beyond that, it's painfully clear they were just adding stuff they intentionally held back

Yes, Pokemon are "returning" but it's literally for one game. No guarantee any of them will appear in future games.

Dexit still happened and will still be a problem in the future. All that other shit is irrelevant because the DLC isn't going to magically erase any of it.

Also, if GameFreak had just not rushed out SwSh to meet the holiday rush (Which does go all the way back to Nintendo but I frankly don't give a fuck who's responsible), this could have been part of the standard $60 price.

You don't even get Gigantamaxes for the starters in the game you bought, you have to pay $30 to get the chance to obtain them after the main story is done. At least X/Y and ORAS gave you the Mega Stone for the relevant starters DURING the story when it'd actually be beneficial. e.e

Diamond and Pearl added considerably to pokemon compared to emerald, and contained all of the pokemon available at the time, while only costing a bit more. Hey retard, the DLC doesn't fucking cost $30. If you just pay for the DLC then you can't do anything with it. You need the $60 base game. You're paying $90 to access that content. For Yellow, Crystal, Emerald, Platinum, and USUM you didn't need to buy the first version. Even if you did buy the first version, you still pay LESS for both the first version and its enhanced version than you would for the game and the DLC pack. Does that make it good? Fuck no. But it's the lesser of two evils by far.

See, this is where we laugh at you. We aren't comparing 40 vs 60. We are comparing 60 vs 90. 60 is base price of the game, but to play everything you actually have to pay 90. So the game should actually cost 90 dollars, but they know no one would buy it at that price point.

Which means that buying the DLC is now unnecessary unless they paywall certain pokemon in the new story areas.
