Suppose that you are going to a sudden area of another country , what will you do? Walk all the day there or just buy a plane ticket to go to that country and than take a taxi or bus to go to that area?

Visiting old regions isn't necessarily bad by itself, the problem is that each episode is in a different region. Episode 3 was Kanto, episodes 4 and 5 were Galar, episode 6 was back in Kanto, 7 was Hoenn, 8 will be Sinnoh, 9 Johto and then episode 10 and 11 presumably back to Kanto, and 12 in Galar. If they're in each region for less than one episode there's little feeling of exploration. It's like the theme park version of the Pokémon world. There has to be a happy medium between filler episodes in unnamed woods/roads and this.

This new series is being pretty damn dissapointing so far desu.
Ash & Gou don't actually do anything meaningful, this episodic model is stupid and doubles down on even less purpose and progression than SM.
And the worst part is the nostalgia baiting just to cuck fans later. They outright refuse to show any old character and have so far purposely missed every opportunity.

There was always some progression though through Ash advancing through the gyms/trials, his Pokemon evolving, etc.

50 episodes from now, Ash and Go will being the exact same shit they'e doing now. All so people can jump in and out at any time and not be confused or lost. They've removed any semblance of story or growth in the name of accessibility.

Not up to this point. OS-XY had a clear journey model where Ash would explore the region mirroring the games, and while still episodic, there was clear progression until his inevitable defeat in a League. SM at least had the Island Trials as a small reference to-do list.

This is the real problem. They're releasing titles that they knew would hype up the audience when they knew all along that the episodes behind tje titles had nothing at all for the older fans. It would be like if Star Wars Episode X was called The Legend of Boba only for the movie to be about a planet called Boba with no reference to Boba Fett at all.

The anime always served to give a sense of scope to the games, as towns only have 2 houses and routes are short, while the anime shows vast forests, caves and cities you visit in the games.
Now that the games are shit visually and the anime cannot serve as an abstraction of the games, why bother?

Go just catches Pokemon, and unlike in past series, they get no real characterization. The past series used to treat the main cast's Pokemon as their own characters. Meanwhile, Ash isn't catching anything new, and hes not even drawing up his reserves.
