Please note you will need separate passes for Gold, Silver, and Crystal respectively.

Also we added new pokemon just for the expansion pass! We promise you can trade for them if you don't buy it.

Multiplayer play (including trading) costs $20 a year per device (non-transferable) and the ability to bring your favorite pokemon in from Red/Blue costs $5 a year.

The game corner getting cut was more PEGI's fault than anything but just because they couldn't gamble anymore doesn't mean it couldn't have been replaced with an arcade with minigames that pay out tickets for items in a prize shop or something.

I was hoping the game corner would become an arcade. You could play the old surfing pikachu mini game or maybe the flying pikachu minigame and get tickets for your high scores. Seeing it just plain gone made me sad.

I can understand PEGI worrying about gambling but not offering any alternative, even lame old Voltorb Flip, was sad.

Yes! This! See some older Pokemon minigames like surfing pikachu come back! Maybe a Pokemon Mini emulator eith different cabinets being different Pokemon Mini games and a modified version of Pokemon Pinball! Now that's the game corner I want to see. One that embraces history and functions as an arcade. That would be cool. Too bad Game Freak doesn't care cause it prints money anyway.

That would have been AWESOME! Not just a retread, but a real refresh in the remake. Gamefreak is in a serious rut now they think Pokemon prints money. They need not to fall into the traps other developers have... but is it too late?
