Will the trainers in Isle of Armor be level 100? It would be boring if I can one shot everything with my overleveled team.

we have no idea, but given the utter incompetence at game freak and the fact that the DLC is just the post-game stripped out and sold back to you, i assume they'll all be around level 70

The only other options I can think of besides making everything high level would be to prevent you from using your old pokemon in the new areas until you complete the main storyline, or making everything scale.

They already said that you get the kung fu panda as part of the storyline, I'm guessing that's the closest thing to a "rental team" you'd get.

Probably gonna continue where the base game left so expect lv 60-65 trainers at the start and lv 75-80 by the end. On a positive note there's a good chance the DLC will be more difficult since it can expect you to have already beaten the game.

They said you can access the DLC areas as soon as you reach the Wild Area, so trainers and pokémon in the Island/Tundra probably scale in level depending on where you stopped in SwSh

It would be great if it was organic, you can enter at any time but trainers and pokemon are late 40s, you either choose it is hard with only 2 badges or buckle up and accept the challenge
It's more likely that your pokemon level will be scaled down to fifty but lower level pokemon will remain the same
