Anything can Dynamax, meaning you can predict and kill their star Dynamaxer, and they could just Dynamax a less, but still highly, effective Pokemon. Oh, you killed Gyarados? Well good thing they also have Hawlucha, which can do the same shit with less overall bulk.
Meanwhile, you can stop megas dead in their tracks. They have to take a turn to mega evolve, and they don't get ridiculous moves like Max Airstream or Max Knuckle, they can't punch through protect, and they don't get double HP. Megas (usually) don't set weather, they don't get super powerful moves, and they can't hold an item. There's a huge downside to runnin 2 Megas, since you're sacrificing a vital item slot, and your team is a lot less flexible.
You know nothing of competitive, which is probably why you can't handle the traditional 6v6 format, which has, and always will be, the Pokemon standard.
