He has a muzzle, but instead of acting like a muzzle, he has an anime mouth that they gave to humans, because he's furbait. It looks incredibly weird, like his entire muzzle is just a nose.
The spikes on his body serve no purpose, he doesn't fight with them, they're just kind of there and clutter the design more.
His "hair" does not look like hair, they look like hard plastic-y teardrops of tumors on the back of his head.
He's wearing jorts. That must be my biggest complaint, desu. Does his fur just naturally grow into the shape of jorts? Why? That's so bizarre. Either his fur is in the shape of jorts or his thighs are much larger than his lower legs, and it comes to an abrupt and unnatural halt. He looks like he is wearing shorts, rather than an actual natural thing a monster/animal could have.
His tail feels like it was tacked on as an afterthought, it's lame and boring, and it sticks out from his spine at a perpendicular angle, which is not how tails really work. It's like they threw it on afterwards.
It's a poorly thought out, cluttered design and I think they should be ashamed that they released it as a finished Pokemon.
FWIW, Mega Lucario fixes almost every problem I have with the design. I'm still not a huge fan but it's a huge improvement.
