I don’t get it, don’t these people realize they’re willingly opening the path for even more fuckery from Game Freak every time they defend stuff like the paid transfer system and the blatantly obvious scam to remove pokémon and demand payment to add them back? All on top of the most barebones entry this franchise has ever seen?

It seems like some fans degrade themselves just to pretend that nothing has changed, that their favorite franchise is the same as it has always been. They actively fight against their own interest, like Game Freak will somehow reward them for their canine loyalty.
