it's all just game. in a normal series you wouldn't need to count the gameplay before the credits seperately from the gameplay after the credits.
the problem with pokemon, and nu pokemon in particular, is that they make everything piss easy so that toddlers don't give up. you're just mindlessly mashing A on your starter's best attack until you get to the champion battle.
it's not that main game bad, post-game good. it's that challenging game good, game for ADHD four year olds bad.
