The rest is admittedly just pessimism, sure isles of armor might be a massive new area with plenty of battles and a new battle facility to match the theme of getting stronger
or it could be a glorified wild area with a 3 hour story segment with that new legendary as a reward and some sort of easier leveling system
Crown Tundra could be an epic exploration filled with hidden areas to find the dens of legendaries so you can join up with friends to explore the raid dungeons to get the legendaries
or it could be yet another glorified wild area except the beacons are just filled with Raid Dungeons sometimes, plus a 3 hour story for the birds and the regis

See, this anon gets it. Though he doesn't understand the underlying importance of it. I refuse to give them even an inch on, "Oh, we can't add the full dex". They have proven they could, they haven't for odd reasons. Full dex or bad game, simple understanding.
And no, this DLC ploy doesn't make this a good game all of a sudden. If anything it makes it a worse game as they aren't giving it to you for free. They are completing the game for the full price of 90 dollars (You have to include the base game cost). This is the best part tho, we get the 200 extra pokemon for free. Before I get it though, I want all pokemon back.

Why yes, I sure love being able to customize my Secret Base, PC Boxes and Dialogue Boxes.
Oh yeah, I also quite enjoy the Great Marsh.
Competitive Pokemon? No, no, this game wasn't made for that, but I like additions like Everstone, Destiny Knot, Power Items and Synchronize to help me getting better natures and EVs. Internet guides are very helpful, too.
It also feels refreshing to walk with some of my Pokemon in Amity Square. Sure, they are just a small bunch of them, but it's a nice addition.
Amazing how this franchise is growing, especially on an underpowered Nintendo handheld from 2004. I am eager to see how it has grown in the next 13 years on a home console!

I don't blame people for being mad that pokemon are being locked behind DLC when it's something that should have been in the game to beging with, but they're at least fixing this mistake by adding them back in. Wouldn't you rather they fix this mistake than not fix it at all?

The new content isn’t the problem
The DLC isn’t the problem, it’s objectively better than a third version

The problem is that Base Sword and Shield was a disappointing game with barebones content for $60 and having to pay $30, for what is essentially, content that should’ve been there in the beginning, is the problem

It upsets both of them knowing they have to pay an extra $30($90 total) to play the game with content, that to them, is essentially the other half of the game

Compared to SwSh, DP had all the pokemon, tons of minigames, a huge region to explore, more legendaries, better everything besides battle speed.
