I swept fucking Rose with a lv43 Centiskorch, and if you get stuck against Leon you just whip out the free lv60 Legendary and sweep his fucking team with that shit.
You never have to grind at all, at any point in the game, for any reason. But if you want to, then it's always, y'know, an option.
