>>42371882>>42371890Yeah the link code system is shit and I cannot fathom why they got rid of the GTS, but Nintendo online is a negligible obstacle. It’s literally less than 2 dollars a month. Bums on the side of the street could afford Nintendo online. Every company charges for online and at much higher prices so I never understand why this is such a big deal for people honestly.
Transferring has been a paid service since we made the jump to 3D. Bank has been 5 dollars a year since 2013. Even then before that it required specific hardware a lot of the time. Link cables, the GameCube GBA card reader, an original mode DS, all of which (aside from link cables) at their time cost more than the cost that bank has been the last 6 years.
Again I’m not saying these are great things, I’m just saying this is how things have been for the better part of a decade now. People are just upset now because they’re paying more attention after the decor debacle.
