Regiroot is the only good regi design.
Regihive is a cool design, but I don't like it as a regi. Would be cooler as it's own thing.

I liked this take on Regi-electric better (though it'd be even better with a bit more electrical arcs around him), but the real Regi-Dragon is a lot like the one in this picture, in that it's bad and dumb.

This really. Now this opens the door on some eeveelution shit. The Regis were special in the fact they were 3 random elements. It loses that shine if every type can have a fucking regi now.

That’s the thing though. They weren’t random. They were all constructed out of things that humans actually build things out of. They were meant to be based on golems or guardian statues. The idea of just throwing in an electric one or a dragon one is ridiculous because it defeats the purpose of their initial design.

Sort of like taking away flying typing from the legendary birds.

I think Regiflex is pretty rad. Literal muscle golem.
Artist gave a description of all of them, and I recall regidrake/regihive being made of flesh, bones, scales (no organs) and regihive being made of supertough webbing that could not be pierced to sample whatever lay underneath.
