It's a fucking Switch game
We should be able to take our pokemon out and interact with them (pet, ride/shoulder, feed, send fetch items...etc) anywhere and at any moment.
Locking interactions to a shitty mini-game is 3DS-tier

I never had an issue playing with the pokémon I wanted.

I do agree that walking around would have been a nice feature tho.

well it's simple, one of the dev came on this shitty board and read my shitpost about me wanting a camping mechanic, exactly what we have here, so you'd be able to cook something and eat with your mons and you'd be able to hang out with them and play with them and all that, but they were already about six+ months into the development phase so they couldn't actually implement the fucking thing and half assed it because who gives a shit retards will buy it anyways and the mechanic will be removed for the next gen as well

You can play with more than one Pokemon.
It is much easier to boost affection since it is tied to the friendship stat.
You don't need to play mini-game after mini-game to get enjoyment down.

You can. It's called zooming into the Pokemon you want and then pressing A to call it over.

No need. Mini games take way too long and are too repetitive. Curry also counts.

A big downer but probably because Switch has a shitty screen. Also no skinship.

At least there is a ball here. In Amie, you just have random Poke Puffs. In Refresh, you have the magical teleporting brush and other grooming tools.

No need to walk around if you are careful.

Only negative point of camp for me is what you can't pet mons like in amie/refresh.
But overall it is objectively better than previous versions of it.
I mean.. Pokemons even can interact with each other and you even can visit someone's camp and see what pokes people's have.. I dunno how anyone can pretend what all of it is worse than amie/refresh...

The only thing new about Camp is the new Pokémon.

All of the other animations are reused from Amie/Refresh/unused files in Gen 7/Trash Go.
