>>42391708The story needs to be settled about battle facilities. If they were *widely* used, it would be as much a staple as the League story. There is a tower in every new gen, a “frontier” was never a guarantee. What we have now is what GameFreak believes to be a streamlined postgame battle spree with accessibility in mind, which is actually a welcome change from the absurd haxx last gen. Not to mention, USUM got the rented battle experience with all the returning characters people want, but no one sits around talking about how USUM was perfect, PLUS it seems like we’re getting at least as many new battle frontier like challenges in the DLC.
