If DPP remakes have the entire dex, that pretty much proves that DLC wasn't released just to make money from the dex.

And hopefully after that we can return to normalcy.

No. The entire point of the dex cut announcement is that it's a permanent thing for the entire rest of the franchise.

They won't remake gen 4, we'll get more dlc and they'll slowly patch in remaining Pokemon as future dlc drops until the full national Dex is in but you need a $120 investment to catch em all

I think the bet that DP remakes are eventually coming out is a good bet. 3rd versions didn't have as good of a profit incentive. I suppose the other possibility is a DP DLC, but why would they do something that dumb?

There's a new game launching at least within two years and 2 within 3, at least. You forget the franchise is still aimed at kids and casuals - prime target audience for something like DP remakes.
