This would pretty much be what i want if they hadn't made characters constantly talk about the background shit. GF decided to walk the line between having a story and not having one, which just makes things awkward.
beyond that, it just limits the ways that characters can grow. they'll shout exposition at you, but they wont say or do anything charming. it's a story with no soul and it demands that you pay attention to it
