This is some crazy mental gymnastics, you're comparing a game with 400 pokemon, no story, empty towns, hallway routes, and no postgame to a 3DS remake of a GBA game that still has every pokemon available, added an entirely new story to existing material, retained PSS, training, and Amie, as well as mega pokemon from X and Y, and added soaring to get legendaries from previous games in addition to pokemon not found in hoenn.

This isn't even remotely comparable. ORAS has an entire new story line for the post game, as well as including every Pokémon available at the time. Sword and Shield have a series of stretched out battles with the same trainer for the pist game, while also having removed half the Pokédex.
