"Los padres de María", etc. Of course it doesn't apply to every single word, but in gendered words that's how it is. Although they have no consistency in their claims, because they want everyone to use the letter e instead of o and a, and say shit like "Hola chiques", "alumnes", but putting aside how moronic that is, there are words that already end with e and are neutral, like "presidente", "intendente", "estudiante" but no, feminists argue those words are masculine and using them when referring to a woman is misogynist and say "presidenta", "intendenta", "estudianta" instead.
