because you have more control of what you're doing/seeing when you're drawing on paper. sure you can't ctrl+z irl, but you will find way more easy to draw exactly what you're imaginating on your head while sketching

I had this Fakemon idea for long and finally managed to make the design work.
Colarat is based on the Oligoryzomys longicaudatus + hantavirus, and Tessirati on Tesso (a rat yokai) + rat king (commands other Colarat).

Yea looks like the shiny one, didn't notice before. It is much darker than the shiny one also has smaller ears. It's Black because it's a Dark type.

The Y is not a Y but an U in Cyrillic. The region it's for will be based on Soviet Russia. It looks weird because it's the first one I made.

Here is another regional variant I'm working on. Looks neat, but Alolan not Russian for some reason.

you're not doing badly at all. pretty good actually. better than i can do
just keep making em and you'll improve.
the best way to improve is to also step outside your comfort zone. editing sprites is fine but maybe if you tried to make your own sprite of the pokemon from scratch you'd improve faster
