He should be able to block people, yes, but if he does they wouldn't be able to see very important politics like the Iran Warmongering.
At the end of the day, he is still allowed to block people but I'd say they are rightfully confused and angry.
It's also fully within his rights to set up a patreon for people donating 160,000 USD a month and only post important political talk there for his "Real" fans.
It doesn't stop it from being hyper exclusionary when this is something involving the entire country.
