I mean if you watch any of these types of shows, the design never turns out quite right, especially given a ridiculously small window of time to do so.

All things considered these aren't half bad. The Chikorita one does look more like a Bayleef though.

Actually made by a pokemon fan, and it shows. Only good one from the 1st round. Everyone else payed zero attention to the proportions and/or said "fuck it, bipedal" despite choosing a quadruped for no discernible reason since they didn't go for a dynamic enough pose or expression to make that decision work in their favor. Even if they were limited to starters they had charmander, piplup, ect if they really wanted to go the bipedal route.
