>>42421730At the very least, on a first playthrough (Excluding gen 7), most rival battles take you at least 3 attempts. Admit it. I only beat about 1 or 2 of them on my first try. You gotta admit they were way too hard at first. Making the new rivals have the bad type is completely logical.
