>>42453291I just went and compared properly- the two have very similar level up sets, but G-Linoone gets Night Slash over Slash on evolving. G-Linoone gets Snarl over Covet, Scary Face over Fling, Counter over Flail and Taunt over Belly Drum. I guess it's less that they're better, and more that it just gets improved access to Dark-type STAB moves, rightly so.
Obstagoon's level-up moves are almost identical to G-Linoone's, but it gets Obstruct, Cross Chop, Submission and Switcheroo as Level 1 moves. For me, it'd be worth evolving Linoone as Obstagoon gets access to some good stuff via TM, like all the elemental punches. Ultimately it's entirely up to you- Linoone can hold its own, but Obstagoon has some interesting options of its own.
