These new forms are awesome, why is /vp/ complaining about this? Now i can have two Moltres. They wer unique before, but now we can see them in the Wild.

I like the zapdos a lot. The colour scheme on the moltres is garish and there isn’t enough contrast between the beak/belly and the dark grey and it looks like something an edgy tween designed

They weren’t unique before, just ultra rare. A lot of legendaries are implied to be not unique but in game you can still only catch one, but as of LEGPISS you can find Articuno, Zapdos and Moltres in the wild. That said they have like a 0.01% spawn rate in the rare spawn list, so realistically if you find one it’ll feel legendary.

I’ve seen very little complaints over these three, the overwhelming majority seems to like them. The new Regis have a more mixed reception but it’s still overall positive. The only new Pokémon in the expansions that seems to be more disliked than liked is Calyrex.

I think he’s ok but a ton of people seem to hate him. I admit the official art makes him look kinda shit, they botched his legs and it looks rushed to hell, but for the split second you can see Calyrex’s whole body on screen in the CG bit of the trailer the design looks a lot more cohesive.

I think the design is just awful. For a pokemon based on the crown jewels they could have done a lot better while still keeping a similar body type and silhouette. Instead we get a legendary that looks like it was made for gags and memes like alolan dugtrio or exeggutor instead of something cool like Giratina-O, Necrozma, or Zygarde complete.

Both Zapdos are good. Galar Moltres is better. Original Articuno is better.

I hate them all so fucking much, Moltress looks like a drag queen, Zapdos is fucking standing on the ground when it's supposed to be flying and making thunderstorms and shit, and Articuno looks like it was designed by Illumination as a villain for a kids movie. Zapdos looks completely forgettable, but more intune with the original
Articuno looks like it keeps with the originals while giving it some better flavour, that mask is hideous tho

The redesigns are fairly nice. I'm glad they did because the originals were dull trashmons. Many birds in real life are far more interesting looking than all three "legendaries" combined.

Overdesigned as fuck, Holocene designs are lame as hell compared to Cambrian designs. Animals peaked in the Triassic imo.

I prefer OG Zapdos but G-Zapdos is pretty cool and the emu design might grow on me.
G-Moltres is a uncontested improvement.
Overall G-Articuno looks very elegant, but i prefer the OG's face.
They all have great colouring
