>>42441623It really should've been a Heracross, though. While I appreciate that GF wanted the new Pokemon to be special/hidden, I maintain that each Gym Leader's ace should've been a Gen 2 Mon, even if the rest of their team was Gen 1 stuff.
Also Jasmine should've had two Magneton. I have no idea why GF threw Magnemites at you more than halfway through Johto, on a team with three Pokemon.
