Not gonna lie, a lot of the Pokemon designs were actually pretty great. I actually had a hard time picking out my team, which couldn't be said for gen 7

Not having to full on EV train mons. The Pokejobs exploit and Vitamins are actually better and more effiecient, though I think the vitamins should be cheaper.

Honestly nothing. I wasn't too big on Dexit but I still bought the game regardless and sold it back at a 10 dollar loss like a month later. Region is uninspired, couldn't even find 6 new designs I like to make a team with and had to use some of my favorites, Dynamax is lame, story is lame and cutscenes are annoying, rivals are wasted potential, can't use all my old Pokemon until like 3 DLCs down the line and the fucking meta sucks even with all the cuts

I wanted to like this game but I just went back to replaying gen 4

Honestly, I loved some of the Battles (particularly the Eternatus final battle and the Gym Leaders), the Wild Area, and especially Pokemon Camp. I love interacting with my mons and can't wait to see some of my old faves in the new DLC.

I really liked the gym leaders and how they actually have more dialogue unlike the usual "Once you beat them you never see them or talk to them again" of previous gens, also the battle taking place in an actual stadium full of people is cool too.

Non-aggressive Pokémon in the OW will react with awe if you strike a pose near them.
I don't think there's any other point that I like that doesn't get held back by some major mistakes.
Searching something good out of these games feels more like nitpicking than anything else.

Honestly the Gym Leaders were definitely a step up from the usual shit we have. Shit felt a lot cooler than just some cunt in a room waiting for you.

However, the over reliance of the Dynamax/Gigantamax Pokemon and everything else in the Gym Leaders' teams (minus Piers) being shitty filler kinda brings 'em down a bit.
