Then why the fuck are so many physical moves shit compared to their special counterparts?
Most 100% accuracy physical moves have 80 or so base power unless they're Normal, unlike their special counterparts which usually have 90. Which makes no sense since physical attacks have the downside of making contact.

Because if a physical attacker is running those moves as it's damage dealers as opposed to having it for niche uses, then it has the means of boosting those moves.
