I didn’t participate in any “boycott” but if you ask me it’s pretty deserving of the score. It’s really boring and the developer lied a lot and it reused 3ds textures and assets on the switch and still has performance issues.

This. Why the fuck do people keep forgetting that gamefreak did this? They explicitly stated that content cuts would occur because they were going to improve the animations, they claimed that all of the models were made from scratch when they're really imports from the fucking 3ds, they're a cabal of lying fucks and they absolutely deserve the criticism.

Both are shit but I trust user reviews way more. Review sites need to tell people what they want to hear; they're never going to give a shit score to a highly anticipated franchise game. User scores at least represent how the person feels, even if they're a fucking idiot.

They haven't changed their company policy tjough and despite knowing about the DLC, Ohmori reiterated no game going forward will have the full National Dex in it. Seeing as how he's succeeding Masuda as series director, I think he'd know more about what Game Freak plan to do than you.
