What is with all these haters? Tangrowth is by no means bad, I would have maybe preferred the Jelanla timeline because then we get two cool Tangela spinoffs instead of just one, and it has a new distinct aesthetic and would have increased the popularity of the Tangela line years beforehand. But Tangrowth is also really good. He's just trying his best....

I'm just not fond of the design, I don't like most of the Gen 4 evolutions, Dusknoir and Electivire are two rare exceptions. I've eased up on Magmortar a bit as well.

Gen 4 is my favorite, but I'm not all about those designs or Tangela in general. I'm glad some people like them though, Tangela is often a very forgettable Pokemon.

Those are other ones I like yeah. Magnezone I'm iffy on, I love the sound it makes in the anime at least, but I think I prefer Magneton. Mamoswine and Gliscor are great though.

Rhyperior and Lickilicky are extremely disappointing. Rhyperior should have grey plates over orange, and Lickilicky...I have no idea, I don't like the original concept for Lickitung's evolution either.

Those are fake. Most sprites you can hardly figure out what they were supposed to look like, heck most of them only had a back sprite.
OP's image is a fakemon, in the sense that the artist re-created what he thinks the pokemon was supposed to look like.
