I buy the second version years later because I never want to delete my original save file. I use the second version to play the game freely and Restart without regretting deleting the file

I've done it all of one time just because i had white & wanted black instead. i was young & stupid & didn't know you could sell or return games to gamestop, so i bought black. i had both versions for the longest time. other than that, no never.
