I thought the game was mediocre and average as fuck for Pokemon. Nothing new in the game I was excited for. While I don't regret buying it I am worried the games going forward will continue to be this fucking lazy even on a Switch.

I mean, when the DEMOGRAPHICS DATA shows that a good 60-something percent of the consumer base aren't literally 6 years old and don't need to be stopped every five steps for intense handholding... I don’t really expect shills to answer this, but wasn’t the entire purpose of the “boycott” to get the national dex back? And now they’re starting to patch in Pokemon completely for free? Not really. 200 extra isn't the 500-some missing. It's literally doing the 3rd version ploy of adding additional pokémon for the content release. Remember, Game Freak said no game going forward will have the full national dex/no plans to add the remaining missing natdex pokémon to Sword//Shield, they never said anything about not adding some new pokémon (particularly as some are even Galarian forms, which indicates this was though of long before the dextard sperg-out).

This is exactly what Go did. When sales started to slump, they started rolling out a new gen every 6 months or so.

If the Expansion Pass does well, it's not unreasonable to expect further support down the road, whether it be in the form of Wild Area events, a second Expansion Pass, or even free patches.

TPCI is a business, and if they make money from this they're not exactly gonna stop.
