Blaze kick was Blaziken's signature move. Aside from Tsareena, we haven't see any pokemon of other types with kick gimmicks since then, it's probably why we didn't have any electric and ice kicking moves yet.

I didn't want to fuck my Cinderace though. I just chose and like it because it's cute while also a fairly strong starter.

I have both Thwackey and Raboot and I don’t know if I want to evolve either because I can’t stand how human-like they are. Rillaboom would have been the undisputed victor if not for that awful clunky drum. Cinderace should have been more Lucario-ish, more like a rabbit and less a person in rabbit clothing. Sucks cause Thwackey looks like a monstrous grass ape and Raboot’s only issue is the unsubtle clothing fur.
